At Stone Design in LA, I fabricated and scenic painted elements for an Atlantis-themed escape room that was installed in DTLA.  The escape room was one of the biggest and most complex rooms yet, with a total of 27 different puzzles to solve in order to escape. We fabricated 20 puzzle boxes that would be used for the VIP invitations to the screening of Escape Room, the movie. Each box had 5 walls that came together with finger joints, and a 14-part lid with a "hidden" closure.  A stick could be pulled in and out to unlock it, sliding down a magnetic track on the inside.
